After my first year in real estate and home staging, it was clear I was in the right industry! I founded Philosophy of Home in late 2021 as an umbrella for all the ways I might want to engage with the residential real estate, home staging, and home renovation fields in Mid-Michigan.
I empower clients to buy and sell real estate with confidence, and help real people live with greater ease and joy in their homes. This is a second career for me and it's a revelation - I love what I do! The work fills me with a sense of purpose I’ve rarely felt and the desire to offer a unique experience to clients.

I am a residential listing specialist who works with sellers to maximize the financial return on the sale of their homes by employring proven strategies for success, including:
- Precision Pricing based on Detailed Analysis of the local market and comparable properties to your own. It's not "sexy" but the foundation for the swift and profitable sale of any property is pricing it right according to its value relative to other similar properties and the prevailing market conditions.
- Multi-Media/Multi-Method Marketing of your property. You can count on me to use all the most impactful media and methods for exposing your home to the greatest numbers of potential buyers. This includes posting on the MLS (multiple listing service) and all pertinent internet platforms (e.g. Realtor.com, Zillow); Promotion on my own and my broker's websites, Social media promotion (Facebook and Instagram), and word of mouth.
- Home Staging - PoH provides full-service staging for vacant properties as well as hybrid staging (in some cases) to augment a seller's own furnishings and decor in occupied homes. Staging has been demonstrated to increase final sale price and shorten the time on market, by highlight a home's most appealing features and downplaying or offering unique solutions for its less desirable features. At PoH we always offer guidance to support your own efforts to ready your home for sale as a complimentary service.
